Math Push
It's an intriguing puzzle game, Math Push. To make equations that match numbers, you must move blocks that are filled with numbers around. When you solve the problem, these numbers will vanish.
Goal: Create valid mathematical equations using the numbers on the blocks by pushing them around on the board.
Gameplay:
- The game starts with a board/grid filled with various blocks containing single digit numbers
- Players take turns pushing/sliding one block at a time horizontally or vertically
- Blocks can only be pushed in a straight line and cannot jump over other blocks
- After pushing a block, if its number is adjacent to another block's number, those numbers are combined via mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) following standard order of operations
- The goal is to manipulate the blocks through pushing to create proper equations that equal the target number(s) given
- Some levels may require making multiple target number equations
Strategy:
- Plan ahead by looking at surrounding blocks and operations needed
- Prioritize pushing blocks to set up operations in the proper order
- Utilize addition, subtraction, multiplication and division strategically
